Pizza Puffs!

So, I know making a whole pizza for everyone in your family can be lots of things:

1- Messy
2- Pricey
3- Not filling enough

I have a family of 3 and it’s never enough. It’s always much more work that it is worth.
But…then I found these.
Of course,  put my own little twist on them but they are oh so yummy!!

Oh screw it, let’s get down to business!

What you will need:
-1 or 2 cookie sheets depending on how many you want to make
(30 fed all 3 of us with some left over)
3 cans Buttermilk Biscuits (10 biscuits per can)
Pepperoni slices (Here is a coupon for you!)
Block or Shredded cheese
1 beaten egg
Parmesan cheese
Italian seasoning
Garlic powder
1 jar pizza sauce (or your dipping sauce of choice)

First thing you want to do is preheat your oven to 425spread the biscuit dough out as far as you can without making it super thin.
You don’t want it to rip to tear because the cheese will ooze out!

Next, you want to put in your cheese and toppings of your choice.
I use pepperoni, sausage and I even made some veggie ones!

Then, you want to fold all of the sides of the dough on top of each other so you have it all nicely closed up….
Like this…

This is how it will look when it is all folded over.

Now, you want to flip the folded side DOWN onto a greased/buttered cookie sheet.
Next, take your egg and spread it on the tops of the “puffs”.
Take your garlic powder, Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese and sprinkle some on the top of each puff to give it some seasoning.

This is what they will look like when they are all seasoned and ready to go into the oven!

Now, put them in the over for about 10 minutes, checking on them periodically.

Once 10 minutes is up, pull them out and have a look!
Don’t they look yummy?!

Serve them with a dipping sauce and you are ready to go.
Let me know if you try them and what you thought!
