Goodbye Sleep and Relaxation!

No, I didn’t get a new puppy.
You would think that I did with the title of this post and all.
Nope. Instead, I have a 20 month old that is too smart for his own good and I can’t keep up.
Yep.
When I least expect it, he springs another one on me.
Now, when I put him down for a nap (which he never takes, instead it’s alone time for me to blog)
he will get up a few minutes later and go to his door and open it right up!
Yes, he has been doing this for a while now and would only get the door open every now and then but now, it’s every time.

I told my husband about it and the fact that it has been happening for the past 3 days now but he didn’t believe me.
He doesn’t think that he actually does it!
So, today, I finally caught it on video!

Ha! Now, my husband can’t tell me that he doesn’t do it!
Well, the story behind “Goodbye Sleep” is…
This morning at about 9:03 am (Yes! Exact time!) I hear our dog barking like crazy!
Mind you, she is an itty bitty ol’ thing but that bark is high pitched so we woke me up…
Little Mr. was already awake, went to his door and opened it right up!
Next thing you know, he is climbing in bed with me, reaches over and grabs my kindle and starts playing one of his games!
REALLY?!
Good Morning to you too baby! Jeeze!
Needless to say, I got up, made us breakfast and got our day started.

“So, now, I bid you Goodbye Sleep and Relaxation!
Shhh…It’s not you…it’s my “I’m-getting-too-smart-for-my-mom” son.
Maybe I will see you again soon but for now, I think we should end.

I know, I know. I’m going to miss you too but it’s for the best.
