NuWave Oven Pro Review and Giveaway!

We have all seen this infomercial on TV and I know we all said…
“Yeah, right…”

I thought, “Yeah, okay. I doubt it could do ALL of that.”
So, leading up to when i finally got the NuWave in the mail, I kept telling my husband how skeptical I was and he thought the same.
It seems like we’ve heard it all when it comes to infomercials.
The lack of commercial quality itself is what strikes us the wrong way.
“If the product is so great, why isn’t your commercial better?”

When I received the NuWave Oven, the first thing I did was start taking pictures.
I knew that if it really did work, I wanted to have evidence.
The NuWave Oven came packaged perfectly! Everything fit snugly inside of the box and nothing was broken or cracked in any way.You can see that it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter top.
I live in a 900 sq ft apartment so my counter is only about 3 feet long where I have it in the pictures.
I love that it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space because when you live in a small space like I do, you try to keep open space wherever you can.
I couldn’t wait to try out the NuWave Oven so I decided to cook in it that very same night.
I made my husband some stew meat for lunch the next day and this is how it turned out…
I checked on the Quick & Easy Cooking Guide that came with the NuWave Oven for how long to cook the meat for.
After reading through, I set the time for 18 minutes and hit start.
After about 5 minutes of having the NuWave running, this is what happened… One thing that I LOVE is that all of the grease drips to the bottom in a pan. You’re not going to be digesting any of that!
That is a DEFINITE + in my book.
With a 2 year old, I want to make sure that he is eating healthy and this is a great way to do it!The timer doesn’t lie people!!
5 MINUTES and look at how much they have already cooked!
Not to mention how much grease has already dripped out of the meat. A total of 8 minutes passes and the meat is ready to be flipped.
Put the stand in the handy little holder that attaches to the NuWave and flip your meat. Easy! All done and ready to be taken out of the oven.
Check this out… Look at all of that grease! My hubby tried a piece and it was tender and juicy! I didn’t expect it to be when it lost all of those juices.
So does it work? Yes!
Would I have bought it before trying it? No..probably not.
Now that I know how it works, I would though! I am giving one to my parents that’s for sure!

  5. I would possible try steak or pork in it first time to see if it really works as great as your review. your review is a very good informative posting, thank you

  6. If I got one, the first thing I would try to cook are some rock Cornish game hens. They’re usually just a treat at my house because they take so long to cook but this looks like it wouldn’t be a problem to whip them up anymore

    • I have cooked pork chops in the NuWave Oven as well! I wish I could attach a picture to this comment for you to see! They came out so tender and moist! Less than 15 minutes.

We don’t eat a lot of red meat in our house and I sometimes feel a bit deprived. I would totally try the short ribs or a big juicy steak first.

We have these sausage burgers in our freezer currently. We tried cooking them on the griddle and stove top, but they didn’t turn out well. I would love to try cooking them in this :-)

  24. Chicken! We eat lots of chicken in the house and I roast it most of the time, and there is so much grease and fat left on the pan. (We use skin-on, bone-it — has the most flavor.)

  25. I would love to try some chicken.
