I love going to my local Tom Thumb store. It always feels so welcoming, the staff if courteous and helpful and it’s always so neat and tidy! Safeway stores always have such great deals and I try to get the most out of them when I can. When I heard that my local Tom Thumb was going to be having a Buy 4 Save $4 deal on breakfast foods, I knew I had to be there! See, my family often goes without eating breakfast. My husband gets up at 7am every morning to be to work by 8 and the last thing he wants to do is make himself something to eat. He then goes throughout his workday without eating anything, half the time. Sometimes he will take a lunch but it’s only if we have leftovers from dinner the night before. I feel so bad for not getting up in the morning to make him anything for breakfast and lunch but I am always so tired, I can’t make myself do it. I am always looking for quick and easy breakfast options to help make mornings easier for my family. They do say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! I was on a mission to find items that were quick to just grab and go! I found thing like Pop Tarts, Kellogg’s Nutri Grain bars, and Capri Sun juice pouches that were all on the Buy 4 Save $4 promo which is what a quick grab and go breakfast consists of! Finding items that were both healthy and quick were options that I needed to stick with. When I saw that Nurti Grain bars were in the participating products, I couldn’t pass it up! Looking around I saw so many more items participating in the Buy 4 Save $4 promo such as cereals, Pop Tarts, granola and fiber bars and even Kellogg’s Fruit Roll Ups!
